About the role:
- Procurement of materials and/or sub-contractors
- Variation preparation and analysis
- Sub-contract payments
- Valuation preparation
- Liaising with clients to understand their needs and develop a budget
- Preparing estimates and cost reports
- Overseeing the construction process to ensure that the project stays on budget and on schedule
- Managing subcontractors
- Working closely with the Commercial Manager
- Working closely with the Production Department
- Assisting the Production Department with estimating
- Preparation of Cost/Value reconciliations
About you:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced role.
- Excellent communication skills liaising with clients and internal team members
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
- Commercial awareness within the fit-out and joinery sector
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills
- Manage your time and workload effectively
- You must be eligible to work in the UK
- We are open to talking to recently qualified candidates (or those about to graduate) and those with more experience
