Somerville was thrilled to be one of the sponsors for a charity event held at Cushendall Golf Club last month, in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.
Organised by Mr Captain Andrew Burns, the setting and weather conditions were perfect for the 40 golfers playing. It was a fabulous day and a superb amount of money was raised for this worthwhile charity. We were delighted to be involved with the event and help raise further awareness of this disease.
In the last 20 years, Prostate Cancer UK has invested £37 million into ground breaking research, and continues to provide award-winning support for men. While the charity has grown in size, strength and influence of the years – the strategy is simple: To stop men dying from Prostate Cancer within ten years.
